Thank you so much for sharing your response to the works! I'm so curious about the way pharmacists sit at the intersection of so many chains of decisions. It's quite a unique place to be.
"Spent" is not currently for sale, but when it comes up for sale, my patrons will be first to know.
I am in love with these works. That passage of scripture, in particular, has always deeply affected me, but especially in this season as one of those women who has difficult to diagnose issues.
You have transformed these everyday objects into material for contemplation and wonder. There is so much more to this world than the material - so much more to the process of seeking healing than science or medicine alone.
And your video of the dice & meds...it is so profound.
That passage haunts me quite a bit, too. It comes up quite frequently in the Orthodox lectionary. I so appreciate you sharing your thoughts and response to the works. Thank you for that treasure.
Oh my gosh, "Spent" is gorgeous (the gold leaf! The words peeking through!) and so, so moving...the emptied packaging conveys being drained and a little bit of hopefulness all at once.
And so exciting to see the prescription spiral is done! Brava! Brava!
Love, love, love these. As a healthcare worker (hospital pharmacist), many of these artworks speak to me on a professional level. Is 'Spent' for sale?
Love the tie in with the scripture, Mark 5:26 has always spoken to me on a personal level.

I'm inspired by you and your faithful making.

These works are getting very visceral. The shredded money. The frustration in the dice. The circular nature of symptoms and side effects. So good!
Thank you, thank you so very much! 🥰

Thank you so very much! It is so helpful to hear how "Spent" comes across. 🥰
