The exhibitions I have coming next year have lit a fire under me. One of the major pieces included in the upcoming exhibitions will be an expansion of Para(site)dise.



I need a lot of prints on hand to construct the components. The summer sun is coming to its peak for the solstice, which means I can print more quickly than at other times of the year.
Summer in full-swing means seizing every opportunity I have to make a print. Since my work is dependent on the seasons, I won’t tone or shape the prints I’m making now until the fall/winter.
Even then, I’m wondering if I even want to alter what has become a sort of diary of weeding. Laying all these prints out on a wall would certainly be a stunning sort of exercise.
Thus far, I’ve stacked all the prints created since March in a single pile under my 40lb cast iron print flattener. It’s very satisfying to watch it grow over time. A single day yields a handful of prints, but day after day, it really adds up—
